On December 16, 2023, participants of the course "European Practices of Social Entrepreneurship: Sustainability, Inclusion, and Creativity" defended their projects. This course is part of the EU Erasmus+ project, Jean Monnet direction within the project 101085348 – EUROSECRET – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH "European Practices of Social Entrepreneurship: Sustainability, Inclusion, and Creativity." The project is implemented at Zaporizhzhia National University from October 1, 2022. The project coordinator is Anna Pereverzieva, D.Sc., Professor. The project team includes Volodymyr Volkov, D.Tech.Sc., Professor; Natalia Vengerska, Ph.D., Associate Professor; Iryna Bakalenko, Ph.D. in Pedagogy, Associate Professor; Yevhenii Merzhynskyi, Ph.D., Associate Professor; Olga Rotko, Assistant.
The project of Sergiy Ostakh and Kseniia Osmakovska, describing in detail the model of social entrepreneurship, "Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities," has sparked significant interest.
Relevant in today's context is the social entrepreneurship project proposed by Andrii Smetanko on the theme "Ability Works Connect," which focuses on addressing the challenges of employment complexity and unemployment.
The "Ed4Ukr" project, prepared by Mykita Kurchenko, has sparked significant interest as it addresses issues related to reducing inequality in access to education and ensuring equal opportunities for all. Other models of social entrepreneurship were also developed, such as "Creation of Free English Language Courses for Unemployed Individuals" by Anastasiia Filonova, "Support for Low-Income Population Strata" by Anna Momotok, and many other creative ideas from the youth.
It is important that, in preparing their own project works, participants utilized the knowledge and skills acquired during the course. The vibrant presentations and performances by the course participants sparked lively discussions, indicating the relevance of the project's themes. Upon completion of the defense, participants will receive certificates and continue to implement their own creative endeavors in real life.
